What is energy healing?

Everything in the universe consists of packets (or strings) of light energy. Science calls them ‘quanta’. Even the physical body is made of this energy. Around us is an etheric or energy body which forms the blueprint for all physical activity within us...

When we have a physical illness, dis-ease or injury, ‘compressions’ form in the energy field around the body. Even if you attempt to heal the physical effect, it is unlikely that healing will take place until the energy field is balanced and harmonised.

Energy healing practices such as Reiki, Acu puncture and Openhand Meditation release the compressions within the energy field around the body bringing a higher degree of order and congruence back to the system.

By opening ourselves up to the universal life energy and surrendering to it, we can not only heal ourselves but heal others too. When we connect, the energy works though us and causes our environment including the people around us to attune to it - rather like tuning into a channel on the radio.

Illness and dis-ease are manifested as a disordered energy field around a person. As this energy field attunes to the new energies, order can be re established once more and healing takes place. Even diseases like cancer can be healed.
