Prayer Works

I was helping some new believers of the Christian faith earlier when one of them asked me this question: "How does God operate? Because I am looking for a job and I am frustrated." I want to share my response to her with you today. Why? Because it's the truth.

God operates through our faith and beliefs in Him--a Living God. God lives inside of you. And knowing that makes you a winner, the head and not the tail. You need to use the scriptures and apply them to your situation and daily life. For example, you could say this if you are looking for a job or a new position" Lord God who made the Heavens and now resides inside of me, I have faith that Jesus Christ still exists today, Your Son. Give us this day Lord our daily portion, Our helping, Lord help me to find the job that the God within me would approve of. I have needs that the Father living within me, God inside me, I feel have been left unfulfilled. But Thou Art a Good God so I know as it is written, you will fulfill my need and send me every Blessing on my job and my path---a path you lead me on and be my guide Father God, for you are and do live inside me and I stick or cling to you like glue. I never want to lose a job again Father God once I receive it, In Jesus Name Lord Amen, Amen and Amen."

Now the scriptures we applied to this prayer were:

"Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.Matthew 6:9
".....the kingdom of God is within you. " (Luke 17:20-21)
Into your hands I commend my spirit; you will redeem me, LORD, faithful God Psalm 31:6

As you can see, no where in these scriptures or any other, does it say that we worship God in frustration or that frustration grows inside of us the way the Living Christ does. There is no room for frustration when you are a believing Christian--it will pull you down. Pledge your love and faith in the Glory of God instead. And I understand.
