Now What?

By:

Okay, you have read all the Law of attraction books, done all the techniques for manifestation and even seen great results. You live in a mansion, you have the love of your life, all the money you could ever want, and a great career that you love. Now what? Are you happy? Now that you have you every material wish? You say, “Yeah I feel pretty darn good.” Okay I will give you that, but how long will it last? “Well, until I die I guess,” you say. Okay after your body ceases to function how much will all of the material things matter?

Reminds me of something Jesus said: Build up your treasures in heaven. Right?

Yeah, okay, how do I do that? Well, maybe, you should just live to serve God/Universe/FORCE/The One. Maybe that would grow your spirit here on earth.

Let me backtrack a little. As I have said before, not everyone has a soul. Those of us that do have a soul have either built it in previous lives or we are starting in this life. Considering our bodies are not going to last that long here in this dimension why do we spend so much time trying to gain more and more wealth, health, relationships? These are all things of this dimension. True spirituality seems to be about building up our souls for eternity.

I think that is the main flaw with the law of attraction, think and grow rich etc. they leave out the most important aspect of spirituality which is to grow your spirit. In fact I would say since our bodies and our 3rd dimensional existence is very temporary, the most worthwhile thing we can do is try to grow spiritually. Focus less on the material and more on the eternal.

How do we do that? How about by getting away from our organic brain and its desires and more in touch with our higher consciousness and our “soul” or multi-dimensional bodies, if you will.

One way to “get out of the brain” is meditation. It is a great way to quiet the organic materialistic brain and access the higher consciousness. After all, when we meditate we are not so much doing non-thought as we are thinking with our higher consciousness. If we can get our brain out of the way we can begin to really start learning and growing and making a longer-term investment than just working on making our short stay on the planet better.

What are some other things or ideals we should follow? How about learning to be happy and content with as little as possible, it seems the truly spiritual live very sparse and yet very full lives. The material things seem to serve only as distractions. Look at Milarepa, he lived in a cave and ate so much vegetation that he turned green from the excess chlorophyll. Or Buddha, he rejected his princely existence and went out to live among the people. Or how about Jesus? Everything in the bible indicates that he was a poor carpenter that later wondered around dependent on the gratitude of his followers to feed him. None of the great spiritual masters were wealthy people, and yet we are constantly trying to create wealth and comfort for ourselves with our spirituality.

There is nothing wrong with money; it’s what you do with it, right? And, I myself would not mind being wealthy, but if it gets in the way of my spiritual growth then I will forgo it. I am just as susceptible to getting caught up in the world of things as anyone else. Here I am in this body and this human body has needs, once those needs are fulfilled how much is the pursuit of more and more stuff just simply fear based greed?

For me, the real point in being able to bend reality or manifest or whatever you want to call it, is to get closer to God/FORCE/Universe. To communicate and relate to a higher power. To see the FORCE in action is more fulfilling than getting a BMW or winning the lottery. That is what we are looking for anyway when we pursue stuff; we are looking for our fulfillment.

Why not just cut right to the source of our ultimate fulfillment, become one with the FORCE, live to serve the FORCE, Become part of the FORCE and think like the FORCE. Now that is what I would call fulfillment, because if you are one with God, how much would you care about material things?
